Who we are

The Geneva Institute of International Relations (GIIR) is a Swiss based independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan membership think tank dedicated to International Affairs. The GIIR was created in 2019 by Mr. Guillaume Fournier and Mr. Marco Pangallo.  Our audiences include government officials, policymakers, academics, journalists, students and the general public. Our goal is to help them better understand the current international problematics and make decisions that are based on the best accessible information.

What we do

The GIIR publishes research and analysis papers on strategic issues such as International Affairs, Defense and Security, International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights, Migration and Refugees and Global Health. The other activities of the GIIR are the organization of events, and training.
